Who

CG AI Consulting is a small senior engineering firm in Santa Barbara. We work with companies between $10M and $200M in revenue that have real volume moving through them: orders, tickets, invoices, campaigns, deal flow. We are deepest in consumer goods and apparel. What we build is not specific to an industry.

  • Kevin MahanyFounder. Operator and extensive background in apparel and consumer brand industry.
  • Mick MankowskiAdvisor and sales guru. Decades of consumer brand relationships and deal flow.
  • Zach MalekEngineering. Owns platform, agent architecture, and audit systems.
  • Devin DassanayakeInfrastructure. Owns deployment into customer environments, security posture, and production reliability.
  • Mesa Wave MarketingIn-house digital marketing agency. Paid media, email, and creative production alongside the systems we build.

What we build

Execution

Real work, inside hard limits.

Agents buy advertising, run the email calendar, produce graphic design, answer tickets, route orders. Inside limits you set: a spend cap, an approval threshold, a named sign-off.

Intake

Messy input becomes clean records.

Recorded calls, contracts, email threads, and exports go in. Clean records come out, in the shape your ERP or CRM expects, every field traceable to its source.

Research

Signals in, memo out.

It reads filings, the public web, and your internal records, then writes a memo against your criteria. Finance calls that diligence; sales calls it a target list.

Output

Produced to spec, not to taste.

The system drafts the customer email, the vendor quote, the board report, the product page. A named person approves before anything leaves the building.

All four run on multi-agent orchestration with persistent memory and a full audit log. If a scheduled job would do the work, we write that instead.

Case examples

Case 01 · Womenswear brand

Agentic marketing team

We built an email marketing operator for a premium womenswear brand because they were tired of a month of campaigns taking weeks and a retainer to produce, and their email had decayed into a discount loop that was eroding the brand.

  1. 01Sources the database, pulls top performing campaigns

  2. 02Develops next month's campaign concepts

  3. 03Pushes concepts to subagents, who build hundreds of ads, emails, and assets

  4. 04Subagents submit every asset to humans for approval

  5. 05Pushes approved assets live across all channels

  6. 06Weeks of work, done in hours.

Case 02 · Zipper & trim manufacturer

Agentic sales force

We built an agentic sales force for a zipper and trim manufacturer because most of its customers bought from only one of five product divisions, and it had no marketing automation and far more accounts than any sales team could ever work by hand.

  1. 01Queries the database, builds a penetration matrix to upsell new trim

  2. 02Creates 10 category templates from the data

  3. 03Builds hundreds of bespoke pages and emails in each customer's own branding, in minutes

  4. 04Sends hundreds of personalized campaigns

  5. 05Customers request samples; inquiries go to factories automatically

  6. 06All without a single human needed in the loop.

How it goes

  1. 01 · Day 0–7

    Brief

One recorded hour with your team. Not procurement. We leave with the real constraint.

  2. 02 · Week 2–3

    Discovery

We read your stack, identify core bottlenecks and problems, and come back with a proposed solution.

  3. 03 · Week 4–5

    Architecture

One page. What gets built, what it costs to run, how it fails. You sign it before we write code.

  4. 04 · Week 6–14

    Build

Regular demo, all commits visible to your team, real data from day one. No synthetic fixtures.

  5. 05 · Month 4–6

    Operate

We stay through one full cycle of the real work: a quarter close, a season, a campaign. We tune it and train your people.

  6. 06 · Hand-off

    Hand-off

Code in your repo, model contracts in your name, training video, and a 30-day support line.

Two ways in

Bespoke.

A system built for one company. Fixed fee on the build, optional monthly support after. Your cloud, your data, your model contracts, your audit logs. Ninety-day mutual termination on anything monthly, and no multi-year minimums.

Special Projects.

We put our own engineering, time, and money behind a partner's product, operation, or sales channel, and take revenue share or equity instead of invoices. We are not investors. We do not write checks, run portfolios, or take board seats.
